I am today and have been always a night owl. I stay up until around 11 or 12 or later each night and wake a 6 most mornings.  That used to be just fine for me 6 to 7 hours of sleep and I could run all day.  But now I am where you are with young kids and it ruins it all. My 6 hours of deep sleep is now replaced with sleeping for a few hours then waking to feed the bad or waking to my 3 old telling her bed is broken. The bad part is I can rarely nap when the sun is up.  I have to be really tried or I just can't seem to doze off.
