<center></center> I'd like to first start off by apologizing for my lack of activity lately, between getting sick with zombie foot II and getting pulled off my normal day to day to help a startup taht found me on Linkedin it's been a pretty busy and stressful past little while. With that being said I'm thinking I've basically done what needs to be done for the zombie foot and the startup, leaving me with more time to do what I enjoy... Maybe it was my dapper physique, maybe it is my no holds bar degenerate sense of humour... Or maybe, just maybe it was the countless MS-paint whale testicles drawn that got me this far. I'll likely never know really. Nor will anyone else.. So will simply chalk it up to magic and leave it at that.. Either way it's been a hell of a ride thus far over the past 2 years, with many more years to come hopefully. <center><h1>Steemit Made My Parents Proud of Me...</h1></center> No word of a lie..! Most my life I'd sort of been nothing but a dissapointment in my family. Kind of the outcast black sheep that did too many drugs and was wasting his life and potential not really doing fuck all. As odd as it is to admit up until last year and the success the STEEM network had allowed me I never once had heard my parents say they were proud of me or congradulate me on anything really. Not going to lie, never in a million years I'd have such a large number of followers or the influence that comes with such a flock. Truly mind blowing. Things were different! Posts and folks were upper class, high standard and had a tendency to be "censored" ( of flagfucked, as I call it) if things were a bit controversial, pornographic or degenerate. Needless to say my own "tera-forming" started at this point. My tool to begin shaping the community to accept low brow humour, titties and foul language..? Whale genital MS-paint art. Albeit slightly modified to not stick a bunch of dicks in peoples eyes.. But it came, was accepted, perhaps even celebrated.. and thus the "bar" or standard was dropped to realistic levels for the internet of today.. <center><sub>( Or so I like to think.. Perhaps I'm embellishing the effect I had here, who knows.. XD )</sub></center> Now, somehow, through all of my crude postings, insane rantings, saucy comments and general asshattery a following of fans started.. Which still to this day blows my mind, the very fact people actually took the time to click a button to subject themselves to my off brand of posting is nothing short of a miracle, blessing or magical endowment... Every follower increases my e-peen like.. many long long... and may serve as proof that people like to keep things sleazy casual and fun. <center><h3>I am NOT a Role Model.. Put bluntly I've never been the happiest person and while an honest attempt to keep myself from slipping into the shit filled gutter that is my own depression it's blatantly obvious to both myself and those who follow me I'm struggling the past little while. Almost certain at least one of the readers of my blog will resonate with my sometimes overwhelming feeling of being trapped within the prison of their own minds.. It's downright incredible my potential and capacity to learn, just need to get over this supposed inability to accept my life as it is and see things to be happy about.. Which should be no problem in theory, given the incredible amount of love, support, learning and community backing that's around me. I've no real good reason to feel as down as I have.. And I know this, just waiting for my brain chemistry to catch up and actualize this with brain juices... Such is the beast I deal with in being KLYE. The ups and downs are what give me the wonderful, unique and essentially insane ways of expression that you, my 6000+ loyal followers seem to enjoy. End of the day I've been blessed to have found this network, it's people and been given the hope of a future far better than the hobo bastard I once existed as. It's amazing to think that coming on nearly 10K times I've submitted something to the blogchain here on STEEM! In the past year 'n some an incredible thing has happened, with STEEM as the catalyst and fuel! I shit you not I was below poor, was fortunate enough to have lucked out hard by having a good friend from highschool ( @scrototbaggins ) take me in off the streets before winter to crash on his couch until I could get on my feet again. Another great fellow and friend originally from Australia ( @bazza ) had given me a chance to work on a web application with him as basically a paid internship, allowing me to start diving into coding more seriously while not having to worry about being unable to pay rent or feed myself. My oldest online friendship of a wacky but straight as an arrow southerner ( @bayareacoins ) gets honourable mentions here too as well, that man's helped order me pizza when I was hungry more times than I can count..! <3 bb. Then finally long time fan and friend of mine ( @seedtrue ) whispered word of the gates to a new type of social media opening soon... That social media site was Steemit.com<center><b>The rest is on the blogchain.</b></center> Feels great to finally have the ability to show these guys above that their belief in me was warranted. Of course there have been many <b>many</b> <b>MANY</b> more people who have helped me a long the way, making sure I didn't starve to death or freeze in my pupae phase while I morphed into something more than just a goal-less oxygen thief. You know who you are, one day I'll make a list of everyone I've got to buy lambos for when STEEM hits $100 a pop. Not a matter of if, but a matter of when! I'm nothing special to be honest, just your average nearly 30 male who just so happened to have a nerd streak and ended up meeting the right people over the years to point him towards an opportunity that I'd been waiting all my life for. Realizing that my backup server at the time was somewhat unfit of the task of serving blocks under the increased transaction load the network has been seeing lately I opted to temporarily disable my witness signing key to update. Stating that I should be using my time better and focusing on my other projects. Naturally my knee jerk reaction was to tell him to go f**k his hat (although I'd have to be really angry at someone to actually say this) and go learn to code himself if he thought my work was horseshit.. but what later donned on me is that his feedback had found it's way through my emotional armour, Something I've constructed over the past years 20 some years in order to not come off as a complete hyper sensitive panzy boy. The sad truth of the matter was that my feelings had been a bit mauled by this feedback. Here I was thinking to myself "Man, people are really gonna love this functionality" only to have strips ripped off my ass for not spending the time burned on the smaller projects on my larger ones. Unfortunately around a solid 7 weeks behind on development from where I'd liked to have been on this project, however I'm confident that once I'm able to set up an office area I should be able to maximize my productivity and finish @Tippy in good time to move onto focusing on my other STEEM projects. Although I've not made mention of it until now I'm in the process of moving in with the lady friend! Moving is stressful times for me generally, however won't let it distract or throw me off my programming endevours. Rapid lessons, evolution and changes seem to be manifesting themselves to those who are looking to set themselves up to receive their full opportunities. I highly appreciate the STEEM user mentioned in the above text for voicing his concerns and criticism. So much has been written about one-sided love that it has been glorified as the purest form of love. Often compared to devotion, tales of one-sided love usually end on a happy note. Movies will tell you that if a man pesters a woman long enough, one day she too will reciprocate the feelings. And if a woman stands silently by him despite the rejections thrown, he will eventually accept her. The hoax surrounding the unreciprocated love must stop right away. Firstly, loving a person who doesn’t love you back is painful. You look at them with hopes in your eyes, not knowing that a ‘no’ is just around the corner. You look at them and think that they are the one for you, but they don’t give you a single chance. What is worse is when you talk of them as if your world begins and ends with them and they look at you as if you are nobody. Late into nights, when there’s no sign of sleep, you wonder if they think about you at times. You know the answer though. One-sided love is painful enough in itself, what makes it more difficult is the build-up of hopes. When the overtly text book romance tales keep surfacing, often beginning with rejections, but always ending as a happily ever after, your hope of a similar fate increases. Friends often play the role of sadists by pushing you towards that person who is obviously not into you. They tell you to keep trying and that eventually the object of your pursuit will give in. This entire cycle is so confusing, that you at the end of it all, you’re left with your insecurities and low confidence. Secondly, what this obsession surrounding one sided love does is that it gives the power to the road side romeos to carry out harassment under the charade of love and romance. It would be wrong to put the entire blame on them, when mainstream movie tellers would tell you that if you stalk a woman and eve tease her, she will be impressed by the display of your machismo and put her heart at your feet. Ideally, one sided love would mean to love someone without the expectations of them loving us back. But human nature makes the entire thing a complicated mess. Glorifying one-sided love stories just drowns you in a delusional cycle of hope followed by heartbreak, with its intensity on a constant rise. If you see your friend falling for that girl or guy who has clearly given a ‘No’, don’t tell your friend to pester him/her with long texts, calls or by following around as a stalker. Instead, be a good friend and put into their minds the painful reality that they need to move on. Give one-sided love stories a break and look for better alternatives.
