**Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!**

Just like many of you, I have been trying to follow the updates on the happenings around the Tron/Steemit/Steem affair as the outcomes of it will probably have some significant impacts on the future of our community and blockchain.

Dozens (if not hundreds) of posts on this topic have already been published and while a lot of things still remain unclear, it currently feels like this whole thing can basically unravel in two ways: the good one and the bad one.

The good one would be that Tron really want to just join forces, treat us as equal partners and make it an epic win-win cooperation. Sounds cool, right? I know. Let´s hope it will pan out this way. 

However, things can also go wrong. The bad case scenario would be that Tron decide to annex us in a hostile takeover. Sounds not so cool, right? I know. But we need to be prepared for this option as well and that is when the witness votes mentioned in title of this post come into play. 

I really hope it will not end up like this but if the Steem blockchain gets attacked indeed, our witnesses will be standing in the first line of defense. Therefore, it is important that all of you guys use your unique right to support up to 30 witnesses with your votes. The ranking (and influence) of the witnesses depend on the total amount of the Steem Power of their supporters and considering the fact that Justin Sun bought a stake that is estimated to be worth some 75 million Steem, it is obvious that some massive mobilization of SP holders will be needed to prevent Sun from taking control over the witness department. 

So guys, please be responsible and cast your witness votes! It might help save our blockchain. You can vote for your favorite witnesses for example [here](https://steempeak.com/witnesses).  

If you don´t know who you should support, you can use someone else as a proxy (and thus let them vote on your behalf) but generally, picking anyone from the top 30 (or all of them) should be ok as these should be the most respected and dedicated witnesses.

Zdravím všechny v #cesky! 

Ještě donedávna poklidné vody Steemu v současné době mohutně čeří bouře Justin (známá také jako Tron :D) a toto téma se pochopitelně řeší i tady v českém rybníčku. Jelikož je pro mě Steem a jeho budoucnost velmi důležitá, snažím se být ohledně této aféry v obraze a tak bych se s vámi ve stručnosti rád podělil o můj názor a jedno malé doporučení. 

Z toho co jsem doposud přečetl a odposlechl, mi vychází dvě varianty, jak tohle celé dopadne. Dobře a nebo blbě :D 

Ta dobrá varianta by vypadala asi takto: Tron nás bude brát jako rovnocenné partnery, dojde k navázání spolupráce za účelem společného růstu a (zcela dobrovolnému) sblížení obou komunit. Výsledkem bude spokojenost na obou stranách. 

Ta blbá varianta by se odvíjela zhruba následovně: Tronu půjde jen o jeho vlastní zájmy a tak se nás bez ohledu na předchozí sliby pokusí násilně anektovat. V takovém případě bychom se samozřejmě museli bránit a v první obranné linii by stáli naši svědci. 

A tady přichází na řadu ono malé doporučení. Přátelé, využijte, prosím, svého práva volit svědky. Postavení a vliv jednotlivých svědků závisí na množství Steem Power těch, kteří jim dají svůj hlas a jelikož pan Justin Sun koupil podíl o velikosti odhadem nějakých 75 milionů Steemů, je jasné, že pro případné přehlasování jím nastrčených lidí, bude potřeba velké mobilizace napříč celou steemařskou říší. Ještě jednou na vás tedy apeluji, abyste využili svého práva a rozdali své "svědecké" hlasy (pokud možno všech třicet). Můžete tak učinit třeba [tady](https://steempeak.com/witnesses). Pokud nevíte koho volit, klidně to tam "hoďte" celé té aktuální top třicítce, měli by to být všechno zkušení a důvěryhodní členové naší komunity, kterým na budoucnosti Steemu opravdu záleží.
