I thought it was pretty funny, but I can see where people would think it is scammy if they assumed they were actually for sale. I can also see some people buying them thinking they are buying assets for the game as other users are trying to sell the ones they got for **free**.  

I had to LOL when @hightouch thought you were me though.

Then I really LOL'd when I found out he is using ByteBall for distribution of rewards from Drug Wars.  An exchange run via a text chatbot.

I can't even imagine the amount of issues users are going to run into with ByteBall chatbots.

Using Steem-Engine would be far more user-friendly and Steem-like.  The problem is Drug Wars is preparing for support for other blockchains and he needed something platform agnostic.

Why are you talking to yourself?

I hope people buy them on the market...because then I will make a few Steem on their stupidity. Yes, I'm totally selling them on there. I have no bones against it. If by some weirdness someone buys them, they clearly don't need the Steem as much as I do.

On the plus side of them using ByteBall, at least I'll use that wallet again, which I haven't touched since the airdrop, waiting for crypto to recover.

As for the whole platform thing...I don't really know the capabilities of tokens on the SteemEngine exchange...but customization is the main reason I can think why you wouldn't want to use it. But, considering that everyone thought of SteemEngine, they should have possibly thought of it as well and registered the tokens anyway. If you're gonna create your own token, you should think about things like how you want to customize it. I seriously doubt they're thinking about that much, considering the previous updates of DW though. You're probably right, and the reason they chose Byteball, if they did, is just to be platform agnostic. Of course, if I had any faith left in their intelligence, which I don't, I'd think they just registered it to ensure no one else did...which responsible business owners do things like that. But they didn't with SteemEngine...

Why would you buy the tokens in the first place? Because they moon??
As far as I understood it, you still can insta upgrade via steem. Only distributions will be in fantasy coins.
Why are we lowering ourselves down to the most naive level?

I don’t know exactly how it will work but you will get paid in FUTURE shit coin instead of Steem.  

My guesses they are banking on people buying them hoping they go up or buying them to do upgrades thus lessening the demand to pay anyone Steem.

The biggest reason I suspect is to go to other platforms and have a centralized upgrade/reward currency that doesn’t depend on Steem.  I suspect at one point you won’t be able to use Steem any more and Drugwars.io will be universal to multiple blockchains.

I’m general I wouldn’t be against it if it wasn’t for all their previous mistakes and how they all have been done with zero transparency and without telling people before they spent their money.   Also ByteBall UI for tokens is horrid. Worst I’ve ever seen.  It’s literally a chatbot you talk to so you can buy/sell stuff.
