I understand your purpose in your post and it feels so good to know that you are helping me by introducing another Steemit platform which is much better. I could have felt your genuineness if only you have said it in a nicer way. I know that this is out of your rant and I completely understand you. @Jerrybanfield : You are offering a good service. However, many Steemitians are not happy with your charge because it is unreasonable. Please consider lowering down your charge.

This wouldn't be as much of an issue if some time had been spent investigating whether other methods of paid sign up exist. We got the issue sorted up in #witness on chat, but still; this is something that could easily have been avoided. The last thing Steemit needs is for new users to find Jerry's method, pay the fee, and then realize afterward that there were cheaper methods. New users don't know where to look or what to look for. Those of us that have been here and have a high enough reputation have, and they should know better. I'm just glad it was sorted.
