Interestingly, I just went to vote on Dian's active comments and I came across a correspondence between the two where he asks for her blessing to make this post. 

To which she replied;

So according to that message, she said no. Unless there is a later comment where she changed her mind that I missed, I think this is all the evidence one needs to see that this is not about helping her at all. She did not even want this, based on that comment.

Well, Dian has spoken -- that link takes you right to her comment -- just give it several seconds to load.- it takes a long time, presumably because of the sheer amount of comments.  It is at the end of my comments/overview here for you.  

The balanced thing to do, since everyone has an opinion --- is for the whales to Upvote this at full power, to move Dian's reply to the top of the comments, to find more easily for everyone, since the post is from her, and about her but I am not holding out much hope for that.-- those big votes would also pay her directly, and that is our focus as well here, right???


You might want to consider sending this to some people who have voted and commented on this, and the related whales who have downvoted or removed support from this -- because Dian's opinion matters the most here and this behaviour in the post has grieved her further.

She is very nice.  

The TLDR version in brief:  

- Is that she still needs funds, as I tried to tell everyone on this thread and provided proof.  

- That the attacks on me and flags have made her sad and during the time when she needed to focus on her family, which is true, and she considers me a brother, (which makes me smile!)

- That she has no problem with the 50/50 format and her getting the liquid rewards and me keeping the steem power at all because I have helped her a lot, and it is her way of thanking me, and that Steemit is a give and take community (about halfway thru her reply)  and again, similar statements right at the end of her post.  

- That she has been offline due to her area in her nation having issues.

- That she wishes the flags be removed and the post supported, and names the whales in doing so.

- That she appreciates all I have done for her over the weeks and knows my heart is right and I have supported her for a long time.  That she knows I view Steemit as community and family and work hard to help out.

-- I have drafted this overview for the benefit of the commenters on the post and am sending this pasted to several people who flagged or downvoted the post, since I know 90% of you / them will miss her reply because it is buried at the bottom of the posts, and so nothing is missed or misinterpreted if everyone gets the same message.  


Dian has spoken.  Now you have to decide how you are going to handle this.   I will not be replying to comments on this, it has turned nasty by a handful of people, where the vast majority of voters and commenters had no issue with this --- nor did Dian and that should carry weight -- her words.  

She has always been my focus here -- and her opinion should be heard and matter more than anyone's here.
