Which App Do I Use to Make the Most Out of Steemit?

If you are like me and you like to make the most out of your steemit experience, you'll need to use apps that people have built on top of the STEEM blockchain to help you.

**People who share an app that I don't know of will get extra good upvote from me in the comment section**.

### A World of Apps on Steem

One of the reason why I believe STEEM will be at $10 one day is because of the incredible talent that this technology has been able to attract. Apps that people actually use on a day to day basis! You would do well by following the authors of those apps and give them your upvotes.

I think that is the reason you clearly mentioned, "you'll need to use apps that people have built on top of the STEEM blockchain to help you." 

Safety is clearly not the forte of chrome plugins, and with hackers getting smarter by the day the question is not "will my password get stolen?' but "when will my password get stolen?" the answer to which is, anytime.

Well that's exactly the reason why I haven't used any of those yet. Basically they are all scraping the pages. Click on your wallet, check you private keys and they're caught.

I don't think the extensions were developed with bad intentions in mind, but it's just too risky and bad practice I think.

Actually I don't know about new Apps that are very useful. Yesterday I heard about Google Chrome extension which can be used to check Account status, but I don't think it might be a good tool for me, coz I hate to add plugins or extensions to  my browser (Security purposes)
I am currently using 
- steemnow.com
- steem.supply
- steemd.com
- steemdb.com
as my main apps in this platform. But you just mentioned few useful apps in the article and I hope to give a try on them also! Definitely in this round I will not get your **big fat upvote** but hope in future I can receive that upvote from you!

Thanks for sharing. I'm always looking for apps to improve my steemit experience. Once app that I wish that was out there was something to help create posts. 

What I mean is something that can save drafts (that way I don't always have to post the same footer), shelve articles (so that way I can easily come and finish them on a later date, and a dummy proof way to schedule posts (that way I can build up some sort of backlog of posts if I ever get busy).

If you know of anything let me know!

Steemviz, Steemdata and upvoters is new to me, I'll check them out!

- Maybe you can check @spectacles by @sjennon and @pilcrow who did an amazing job with this one. You get a lot on info on a single app. 

- Then you have vessel by @jesta where you can easily delegate power or create new accounts and many more functions.

Hi @cryptoctopus! Thank you for listing all the apps! I have been using all the apps except the first one. I'm definately going to check it, thanks again .

But the best app for me has been steemdb, steemnow and steem.supply to monitor my voting power, voters and posts payout.

However recently found about new app called [Steemfollower](https://steemfollower.com/?r=3726) by @mahdiyari this week which has an follower and upvote exchange which I think is a great app for minnows. It basically gives us points for following others and upvoting contents which in turn returns the same favor for the points accumulated. Please provide a review if you could.

Great compendium of plugins here, cheers! Many of these I didn't know about before. Currently I use steemnow, steemd, and steemwhales a good bit. I'll check out some of the other tools as well!
