Interesting article. I still don't know much about the blockchain, trying to learn and understand a little bit more everyday. I have actually tried to recruit a few people to Steemit today. The problem is that I actually have to explain the whole platform to them to get them to sign up, and I don't know so much myself. I know that there were some articles added on how to start here, but it is rather difficult to explain something you don't fully understand yourself. It is even more difficult to get people to stay after signing up if they don't believe in something.. I have convinced them to sign up though, but it will literally be a training session on skype daily.  We all work online so it's not difficult to do this, but  if "someone" could make a proper introduction video for new members, that will help. This video should however be in very easy laymen's terms. Not everyone understands cryptocurrency, and not everyone understands blockchain. And I feel like a complete idiot most of the time!
