"We Don't Follow Steem To The Moon; We Take Steem To The Moon". Let's Discuss Steemit Promotion. "It Gets Much Easier!"

<p><strong>This has ever been my idea of steem:</strong></p>
<blockquote>We don't follow steem to the moon. We take steem to the moon.</blockquote>
<p>And if you look closely, it is on this very model that steem will end up thriving.&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>Everyone, even a redfish has a stake and each one is incentivized to grow this stake by incessantly <strong>"mining with minds"</strong>, while maintaining good behavior.</blockquote>
<p>You are started up on steem to some delegated steem power <strong>(at the very least)</strong>, starting you up to ownership of steem. I think that establishing this <strong>sole knowledge</strong> from the outset, will instantly spur you on to steemit success because your mindset starts out all different <strong>(this sole knowledge almost instantly sets you apart and gives you an edge because this sole knowledge, many steemians spend ages to identify and establish in their minds)</strong>:&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>We take steem to the moon!</blockquote>
<p>Yes, <strong>establishing the above solidly in your steemit/steem-knowledge-base</strong> and no longer will you spend too much steam, actively/passionately seeking out things that are wrong with steemit/steem or possible reasons why it will fail or endlessly question whether it will end up succeeding etc</p>
<blockquote>For you will land (on steem/steemit) and build-base! You will not just perch on it.</blockquote>
<p><br></p>
<p>Yes, many content-sharing blockchain-based platforms may pop up, that look to offer more balance in terms of reward distribution etc but how will they compare to the <strong>"steem-blockchain"</strong> also, when it comes to security, capacity, speed, fees and ease-of-use?&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>Speaking of ease-of-use, you don't have to download an entire blockchain to access steem!</blockquote>
<p>And can any content-creation platform out there, beat steemit/steem in the aspect of <strong>"a reputable community of great minds"</strong>?&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>Except they try copy steemit/steem! <strong>(Steemit is the first of its kind (that works) on blockchain)</strong></blockquote>
<blockquote>Not a soul can today, can be fully said to be a better break-dancer than Michael Jackson.</blockquote>
<p><strong>Okay, there has been Akasha, Synereo etc trying to pop up but are they on </strong><a href="https://steemit.com/steem/@steemitblog/digital-kitties-on-steem-how-would-the-steem-blockchain-handle-700-000-transactions-per-day"><strong>a blockchain better than steem</strong></a><strong>?&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>While others who understand fully that they are co-owners of steem are incessantly looking for reputable ways to shoot steem to the moon, we lose steam even steem, indecisive on whether to perch or land.</p>
<blockquote>Without landing, you can't be really effective towards your steemit success, for there will always be "but(s)".&nbsp;</blockquote>
<p>And while you spend ages hoping that whales will come around and visit and ages getting deterred when they don't visit, how about spending that time building your own whale? How about remembering this:</p>
<blockquote>You are whale to me!</blockquote>
<h1>For Why Should Steem Fail, When You Are (Really-Fully) Here?</h1>
<blockquote>It so shouldn't! It so wouldn't</blockquote>
<p><strong>For while you tire out a bit, to go into-the-box to regain energy</strong>, rest assured, <strong>someone is coming out-of-the-box</strong>, at that very moment to create awesomeness.&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>The whole model of steem revolves just around that.</blockquote>
<p>The more people there are realizing that <strong>"we take steem to the moon"</strong>, the more it is less likely to fail.</p>
<h1>I Am Not A Coder/Developer/Programmer?</h1>
<p>Hahaha, this is just one way of the ton of ways out there, <strong>to take your portion of steem to the moon</strong>. Its an ecosystem and to me, <strong>every role is equal</strong>; you know why?&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>Cos there is no real ways to measure value or effort.</blockquote>
<p><strong>So who says a developer/programmer etc does a better job than you in taking steem to the moon?</strong> Who says, your simple blogs about "life" etc has not triggered action in the search engines and brought thousands to steemit today or<strong> potential thousands next-next tomorrow?</strong></p>
<p><strong>When i started </strong><a href="https://steemit.com/created/untalented"><strong>Untalented </strong></a><strong>for instance</strong>, i had steemit growth very much in mind as well. I wanted people to share these <a href="https://steemit.com/created/untalented"><em>untalented posts</em></a> to their social media accounts as well, to spur steemit growth even to those downtrodden or lowly-at-heart; to revert even the spammers and give them newer use as innovators and content-creators, but did i have any real measure of my impact, until one person left a comment, saying that <strong>#untalented changed his life and because of it 15 or so of his friends have joined steemit?</strong></p>
<blockquote>Plain No</blockquote>
<p>We all play a role in this ecosystem and minnow or whale; is negligible. What counts is:</p>
<blockquote>that tiny thing that you do</blockquote>

<h2>"The High Road"</h2>
<blockquote>In reality, this the road that successful people take.&nbsp;</blockquote>
<p>While you argue about whether those who trend, are suppose to trend; those who trend; trend!</p>
<p><strong>See, Dan who created steem, is currently busy on EOS. Hahaha, Ned who created steemit, is evolving into Smart Media Tokens</strong></p>
<p>There is nothing you can't build on steem and if steem/steemit has issues, <strong>spend more steam/steem</strong> conceiving of ways to fix it or <strong>your portion of it</strong> and let it be fun and let it be <strong>because your sole aim is to take your portion of steem to the moon.</strong></p>
<blockquote>Not because you want to win people's attention or impress people, <strong>for impressing yourself</strong> has more far-reaching satisfying impact and is more testimonial!</blockquote>
<blockquote>You are whale to me</blockquote>
<h1>Promoting steem/steemit in reality is our role. Why?</h1>

  <li>Because it is your steem</li>
  <li>There is no doubt about steem/steemit's potential in impacting lives positively</li>
  <li>Because <strong>"steem to the moon"</strong>, benefits you too</li>
  <li>Because the more reputable great minds in incessant mind-mining on steem, the more steem won't fail.</li>
  <li>Because if the numbers grow, you can run entire real-world businesses or enterprises on steem/steemit</li>
  <li>Because it is a way of giving</li>
  <li>Because it is a way of educating</li>
  <li>Because you want an audience</li>
  <li>Because you want a movement</li>
  <li>Because you want a team</li>
  <li>etc</li>

<p>Whether you promote <strong>steemit,</strong> <strong>@utopian-io, @busy.org, @dmania, @steepshot, @dtube, @chainbb, @esteem @chainbb @zappl @dsound @steemgigs etc</strong> or you build your own app, solely to promote it while building your empire, <strong>you are taking steem to the moon</strong>.</p>
<h1><strong>Promoting Steem is not as hard as you think!</strong></h1>
<p>Simply pick your audience and <strong>tell them of the exact app for their needs</strong> or build an app solely for their needs and promote that app.&nbsp;</p>

<h1>And A Little Improvisation</h1>
<p>And if it is a game that may appeal to your friends and family, there are games e.g <a href="https://steemit.com/steemretro/@netuoso/play-pacman-earn-steem-more-retro-games-to-come"><strong>there is a recent simple game by @netuoso</strong></a> and alot of other games in the making, by @sirlunchthehost etc</p>
<blockquote>or you can tell your friend who is a game developer to come continue building his game on steem or tell your friend who has been looking for funds to develop his open-source game, to come sync his game (<a href="https://github.com"><strong>github</strong></a>) with <a href="https://utopian.io"><strong>Utopian</strong></a> and get possible support from the steemit community funding-wise etc</blockquote>
<p>Now if your friends are all freelancers etc, tell them <strong>https:steemgigs.org</strong> is getting ready and if they want to beat-box or create music, simply tell them of <a href="https://dsound.audio/"><strong>dsound</strong></a> or of a growing beat-boxing community being spearheaded by @jaderpogi</p>
<p>And just if there is no app to fit their needs, you can invite them solely to participate in contests and steemit has a ton of them daily. Simply pick one such post from https://steemit.com/created/contests</p>
<blockquote>If they are fans of <a href="https://9gag.com"><strong>9gag</strong></a> or <a href="https:imgur.com"><strong>Imgur</strong></a>, simply pick up <a href="https://dmania.lol/"><strong>Dmania</strong></a> and show that to them.</blockquote>
<p>The process there upon is seamless. They will be redirected to sign-up on steemit same as they would on Facebook etc; The only slight difference is, <strong>you will need to remind them to backup their password</strong>. Overtime, interfaces on steem may start to have direct sign-ups; by-passing steemit altogether as will be the case with @utopian-io soon.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Overall, some time next year, by means of Hardfork 20, <strong>steemit sign-ups will be faster</strong> but the awareness we do even now, instead of waiting till then, can work then.</p>
<blockquote>I didn't join steemit, the first time i learned about steemit. I eventually joined by means of an organic blog that i found in the search engine, that had attempted to answer my then question and whose author i connected with!</blockquote>
<h1>Why bring your own community or friends &amp; family?</h1>
<p><strong>"Steem to the moon" aside</strong>; you will have your own like-minded people from the get-go to spark your fire and you do need fire.&nbsp;</p>
<blockquote>In today's world, in any endeavor, you do need fire and if you need fire, you need a spark!</blockquote>
<p><strong>"You and your own community" </strong>and it gets much easier to gradually take your <strong>portion of steem to the moon</strong> at least.&nbsp;</p>
<h1>But I don't Have Steem Power</h1>
<blockquote>Hahaha, do you really really think steem power is stronger than will power or people power (community power)?&nbsp;</blockquote>
<p>People who you invite to steemit, should want to join steemit also <strong>because of the person of you</strong> <strong>and what you represent;</strong> minnow or whale.</p>
<blockquote>So let your substance grow and shine!</blockquote>
<p>If you promote steemit and do posts about it and get rewarded for it, it is more that steemians are encouraging the act. It is not because you are doing better than others or cos it is our right or because we have to&nbsp;be rewarded for putting effort to promote steemit.</p>
<blockquote>Hahaha, it is your steem too and if it is, promoting it should be a fun thing to do!</blockquote>
<blockquote>Plus, a ton of people promote steemit behind-the-scenes.</blockquote>
<blockquote>Even the simple <strong>"thank you"</strong> comment plays its role in promoting steem.</blockquote>
<p>In this post, i will like you to tell me what current endeavors you are doing towards telling<strong> "steemit or steem-apps"</strong> to others.&nbsp;This can also include updates about your own evolution as a steemian because according to me, a very solid way of promoting steem is in your own "steemit evolution".</p>

I am doing good, still waiting to get to move into my house, but at least it is done, we are now waiting on the city too get the state to approve the permit for the transformer for the electric to be connected. Hoping for a Christmas Miracle, as I was told it can be as quick as a week to as long as 3 months before the state approves it. Talk about stressful.

If we make it happen and eventually make Steem high, it is for out own good, we don't need to impress people to work on something that would benefit our pockets l, The current price of the Steem and sbd is so wide and it has been like that for almost two weeks or more, since the increase I found a video yesterday that could explain better why the sbd was up and meanwhile was meant to be tagged at a dollar, At the end of the video the user said it would surely go down because what goes up must surely come down, Hahaha, Steem is the real deal we should focus on it and I hope it overcome this struggles lately.

I knew you will come here and while writing, i remembered you and the several reasons for me to have mentioned airclinic and even from my last post, i saw people who commented and who would fit in with airclinic but in this post and i knew you i would miss the mention and you would come, for me to teach pacing. And i tell you, it is needed for something as giant as airclinic depending on how giant you see it. I am already on the discord and i am admiring it but i have seen things. Nairadaddy will be a household name for sure but there is a difference between a Mohammed Ali and a May Weather, though they are both boxers and May Weather knows it. This reminds me of the acronym "WAHOR" which the Ron Paul supporters frequently used: "We All Have Our Roles".  I really like it.

In my previous software career (ended, hopefully temporarily, by concussions), I tended to play a "support" role, helping to build a solid infrastructure so that the "rock star developers" could build a much better structure.

They were the rock stars.  But if they built their castle on a swamp, it'd be more likely to burn down, fall over, and then sink into the swamp... :)

No doubt. Same applies here. One may get to carried away and feel he is doing more than others etc and others may get discourage by the small they feel the offer. In reality, there is no true measure of it and here on steemit. Most people use steemit.com and sometimes post payout as a measure of it but it isn't and can't be sufficient as a true measure so to be every role is equal, even a simple "thank you" goes a long way and depending on its timeliness can be all that's needed to fix someone. Long time. My mum died in the last few weeks, so i have been struggling. I spent her last 16 days with her and before that had not seen her for close to 5 years

So sorry to hear about your mom. Mine's still with me and I treasure her presence, even if I often appear to be irritated in her direction, due to these concussion symptoms.

I agree, there are few "measures" in life that truly demonstrate one's worth. I think gifting is one of them, but then, crowing about one's gifts tends to denigrate them.

A few days ago, I read about a society which values their people based on how much they give away. Which is really neat, as I had an idea for a coin with those characteristics a few weeks ago: rather than "proof of work" or "proof of stake", it'd be "proof of spend".

I searched for it when I had the idea, and came across only one other person asking about it, in a forum post with no comments. So, the idea has been thought of before, but doesn't seem like it had been developed.

One downside I can see to it is: someone creates two accounts, and moves a set of coins back-and-forth. Two ways to handle that, technically: the "proof-of-spend" would have time periods, so the rewards are for the coins one spent during a certain period of time. It could track the coins, and detect whether they're "circling" during that time interval -- and, if so, those coins would only account for one "spend", not all of the ones that happened.

Another way would be to have the fees higher, but that then presents downsides to adoption of the coin in general, so I'd rather not do that. Perhaps two coins could be created, similar to STEEM and SBD? One would be monitored for spending, and the other would be the reward. And, thinking while typing, I suppose the reward could be in BTC. But then it would require some backing, so perhaps two new coins would be better. Or just one coin. Anyway...

It's good that you got to spend time with her. Way back in college, I had two relatives pass, a couple years apart. I overslept for the Saturday morning bus when my grandmother was failing, and thought to myself, "I can go next weekend" -- and she passed during the week. I was heart-broken, thinking I had failed her. My uncle later was dying of cancer, and I made the effort to make the trip. He was strapped to the bed, writhing in pain, no intelligence behind those eyes. It was very sad and traumatic. There's no good way to lose someone.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US is responsible for the growth of steemit.
We have to bring more people to the platform, steem is just not popular enough.
I am 100% sure, there are millions of people out there, who would directly join steemit on love the platform.
I can talk for myself: If I didn't get to know steemit by accident I wouldn't be here because nobody of my circle of friends knew from this opportunity right here.
I am on steemit for over a month now and I don't really use Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram that much anymore.
I hope I would have heard of steemit earlier..

And because I know that many people out there think the same, I told my family, friends and other contacts about steemit and they love it.
a few of them already signed in and more will follow.

Also people on Facebook texted me and asked about steemit, because I publish my content On Facebook too.
**People love it, if they know it. So do your best to make to make steemit more popular guys!**

Steemit is growing and growing and there are already very much projects currently on steemit and there are more to come.
I'm looking forward to do my own project right here in the future but until that, I try to give the platform more value by creating good content and also rewarding good content by others.
I hope you guys do the same and don't upvote just any shit but rather make differences between high quality and spam/bad posts.

I am a new member of STEEMIT. I heard about this from a friend and we tried signing up, but we both do not know how to efficiently post topics/blogs. You are very right my friend. Even when I think Steemit is already fairly know...guess what? I am very wrong! I just finished a webinar to some 125 people now. Bad before my lecture got under way, I asked if there was anyone who know about steem. The answer was, a 'no' in a group of 125 people despite all the awareness that's ongoing in Nigeria today.

I was startled. I have resolved to give steemit promotion some 80 % of my time next year.

@surpassinggoogle taught me to see myself as a stake holder in steem holdings. And since then, I have never looked back in my promotion of Steemit at every slightest opportunity.

All hands most be on deck to realize globalization of steem blockchain. We will achieve this... I have no doubt we will.

That’s funny. I also met Steemit by accident via a Skillshare class i was watching.

I keep telling everybody about Steemit and now that I am writing my travel blog on Steemit, instead of starting an own blog, I hope that some of my friends and family will come and join the big Steemit family. I also talk about Steemit with the people I meet on my journey. I even have business cards with my Steemit address. 
I also startet one or to Pinterest boards for Steemit Tipps and tricks and my own Steemit posts.

One handicap is that if you come over to Steemit without having known it before, it somehow doesn’t look trustworthy enough and a little bit chaotic. 
Which just brings me to the idea, that I could create a footer telling more about me for every post, making it look more like a personal blog somebody would trust...
Anyway, I for my part do the promotion work...

#africa is for africa in general too. I know many steemians who reside in SA. You will come accross them overtime. The image i laid out is all you need. You simply show it to the printer and they will print copies on hard card-like paper. You can edit the contact number in the text to be yours and perhaps the gift amount to the SA currency, then show off new people who join (their #introduceyourself post). i don't mind seeing these posts

You have never been incorrect in the way you articulate words towards steemit promotion. I just finished a whatsaap based webinar training on steem blockchain to some 125 audience. And I find This few lines very apt...

>You are started up on steem to some delegated steem power (at the very least), starting you up to ownership of steem. I think that establishing this sole knowledge from the outset, will instantly spur you on to steemit success because your mindset starts out all different... 

For sure, this token which is freely given was one of the factors that motivated me to swing into action in pursuit of Steemit success in my early days here.

And today... I am which happy with the number of people I had brought into this social capital program. 35 people just signed up after my webinar  this evening... As nice as this is, one still need the support and encouragement to continue to guide the new entrants to success.

You're as inspiring as ever, sir Terry... In terms of promotion, I recently went to my uncle's house. As I was catching up with everyone there, I wore my Steemit shirt and introduced the platform to them... They asked lots of questions and are very interested about Steemit... My cousin immediately signed up that day... Unfortunately, they're having a problem right now since my uncle's father died... However, after everything settles down  they'll be on here.. I'll be telling my other cousins about other alternatives.. Yes, everybody has a role in this website. Thank you for encouraging minnows like me. Thank you for reminding us that despite being a minnow, we are special. I actually referred 3 members already, though, they were inactive. But I will try my best to convince them. I referred another two, both were our brothers in faith, and are yet to post their introductory post. I will help them how after our visit week. I will also try to find delegation of SP, or add more as I actually delegated with a few so I can help others to earn more cents. Hopefully, I can bring more people here as some of them expressed their interest. In fact, I wrote about it recently.

Aww dreemit, what can i say, you are full of so much love, it is so touching and sweet that i get speechless. You know i look at steemit and it has life and all its lessons in it and reminds me of humans and how much so the same we are. It is like a mirror and thoguh people don't know it, they are so displayed and its there, with all the eliteness, they are still too much human with all the flaws and it is so obvious even when they feel they can determine other people's value. No one has unforgivable crimes here because everyone so has flaws. Steemit is like cctv for me and its fun to see and a very learning experience. I am slow in my energy level this period, so i am not fast to reach all the comment. I love you and especially now with you and your dad. It is tough. I have notice about these cancer issues, that its the infection part that is even the more harmful part. my mum's was not noticed till it was too late because we didnt have knowledge and not even the doctors in these developing nations. they just keep focusing on the anemia but the infection was the problem like the pneumonia in this case and my mum wasnt showing symptoms, mostly weakness. I am glad they spotted that for your dad in the meantime and that they are working on it. If i came to USA, i will tell you my story more fully. it breaks that heart. In posts, it can't be fully expressed because the tears will be missing

That is one of the immediate answer to my question on how to improve myself here in steemit. I must atleast bring Steemit to the moon. The question is how should I do it? As you said earlier on your very informative post that letting other people join this platform is one of the effective solution to bring Steemit to the Moon and yes I strongly agree with your initiative bro because building our community here and support each other will help you to be a successful steemian here in steemit just like you.

Right now I am following your advice that as of now I must invite my close friends who are beatboxing on this platform. I will start a small community of beatboxers here and eventually as the time goes by I will help them to grow and this community to grow here. I believe all beatboxers in the world or even in our local area are deserving to be curated or paid for their talent in beatboxing because in this artform of us we give intertainment and most of all the effort in executing it. To do this is difficult and achieving this talent is very difficult and you need perseverance to have this talent. That is the reason why I like to build this beatbox community here in steemit.

I've always wondered if there's ever anyone interested with what we have been writing. They're mostly about family, my kids and our life experiences. But you said it yourself;

When we got introuduced to Steemit, I was hesitant at first because it felt like I have to be a knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and stuff. Your comment sections are mind blowingly huge. I was just talking to a friend of mine about steemit, promoting it as best as I could, and you came to mind- I found myself thinking "I wish Terry could come here, I would throw a huge party with all of my awesome friends and he would be the key to getting them to join, he's so good at inciting excitement for it!" I checked to see if you had responded to my comment, (which is pretty far down) that's when I realized how ginormous, lol, your comment sections truly are and that it's a full time job just for you to respond!

But Terry, if you ever have the opportunity to come to the US, you would have a place to stay in NY, you would be a welcomed and honored guest in my house. My parents live only five minutes from me (you've seen the lake pictures where they live right?) and they would love you. They are people of faith just like you, they would welcome you with open arms.  I hope someday you will be able to make the trip, I would be your New York tour guide and you would be my partner in steemit promotion, the champion I need to get people on board our wacky, lovely, twisty, fun, hard and beautiful platform.

I do agree with everything you've said and I think you've done a great job nailing it down like this. Well done!

That being said, I'm a firm believer in Steem and Steemit, but I also believe that we **must** take care of our own, **before** anything else.

This is from one of my previous articles for insance:

One cannot teach these people with in-depth analytics or numbers. We need to educate and teach them with the use of guides, tutorials and answers even a kid can understand. And that's what I've been trying to do. However, I **also** talk with people about Steemit. I ask people if they've heard about it and things like that, because I truly want **more** people to join... - But I want to make sure that those we already have onboard, will continue to stay.

Bring your own community and i spoke of your portion of steem. i was touching there on catering to your community and not inviting people solely cos your imitating others or trying to attract votes etc. i also spoke of building a whale but on steemit i am very technical when dispensing info so that info attains in intending purpose to upbuild and inspire. You know it is a community and you have been here for long and you know how community works. For the new ones staying, i work on that lot in the DMs. Thank you for an awesome comment. A brother of my wife, came from manila and wanted to spend christmas here in our province, he just sign up this day, hope he can start tommorow or on the other day!

I keep on convincing my friends, and friends of my friends, to join steemit!
Some of them keep on steeming, some of them lost their way
But try to come back again only this december, 

I see steemit, as the more people came and joining in, the steem value will rise! 
How I wish I can support them,
Only I can do is guide them
Teach the basic
And encourage!

Even the esteem app that sometime give free upvote, I am teaching them to used it! At least they get 0.30 from it and not getting zero upvotes!,

I will continue to spread steemit, like what you always do!

I like the question you ask about " how can any content- creation platform out there beat steemit/steemit....?" I dont think they can only if they will have to copy the platform. But even if they try to copy steemit/steem like the motto of 7UP ( the difference will be clear). You can try to be like someone but can you actually be like that person? Just like someone trying to be like you.......(laughing). Though the person will try but you can only be. When i see people put things on facebook now, really i feel sorry for them especially when its something that is intellectual in nature. I feel I wish this can put this on steemit/steem.
What is happening on this blockchain is really mind blowing because you just find out the world is filled with great mind.
Steemit/steem has created a reputation for itself and it will take time before any other platform ca beat it. Just facebook when it came.
Now the good thing about steemit is that their is room for constant improvement and upgrade. Thanks to all kinds of project like #steemgig, #untalented, #utopia-oi, #busy etc. Just to mentioned few. THE MOON SHOULD BE READY FOR US BECAUSE WE ARE COMING WITH FULL FORCE.

I am still owing your awesome comments on my previous post but i will get to them. I am slower these days cos of energy levels and mood but i will be there. The beauty of steemit is the blockchain it is on. the capacitiy of this blockchain and its speed, its feelessness etc is where no other copy can beat it. Anther thing is ease of use. For many of these other upcoming social interfaces, they may have good proposal but i tell you, just to get on them for the several i have seen, you ill have to download an entire blockchain and gosh this is a hassle, slows your PC and sucks out all your internet and pc resources cos of this too, there is no google ranking which is steemit's secret weapon. Soon there will be a steemit post answering any topic or question organically in the search engines and this is the height of genuis and where steemit is just bound to go mainstream. if you have been on the internet for long, you will understand better, till date insurance companies still pay 50 dollars per click for ads that may not bring a customer. just a click and they lose 50 dollars. and their sole aim is to appear on the first page of google. A simple steemit blog can accomplish this without much effort. this is the aspect of a steemit blog that many miss out on as the goald becomes to please just the steemit audience and get blinded to other facets of steemit beauty. There are ton of things i can say but i will stop, so we can go. Let's go

To be successful on this platform then you need to look beyond just making money or SBD. There is more to steemit/steem. Thus point has been repeatedly emphasized but i still people that just want to keep doing it for the of the monetary gain. I think that should be a secondary thing. The primary purpose should be that everyone to see this platform as an avenue to prove a point the world or any one that cares to know the stuff they are made through various invention and ideas that can be displayed through this platform.
If everyone can have that mentality then landing o the moon is a reality that can quickly.
I try to focus more on buliding my Steem Power(sbd) in other to be more useful like @surpassinggooogle to the newbies and minnows. And as well acquire more Steem in order to build this platform to what we want it to be. Thats why I refuse to Power down.
I'm not saying those that power down don't have plan but am only trying to share my own long time plan for this platform.
I pray the steemit/ steem will continue to grow especiaily when it is finally lunched officially.
Just my thought about how landing properly on the moon can be possible. Thank you.

How about gather them tokens and put all that effort into "steem won't fail". Overall, this post touches on life itself. That is why I said steemit/steem and other  apps promoting steemare just making life beautiful us. Do you know that I was down a bit some few days ago due to some financial constraint i was having . Then I read a line from a post under the #motivation (can't  remember the writer now) and that was it. Just saying something about what you said

In steemit, we have come home to roost and it is unavoidably our responsibility to promote steemit. You are amongst the few encouraging the young Steemians and if only more dolphins and whales would encourage some of them some more. A lot come on-board and when they don't get upvotes after a period of time despite their wonderful posts, they quit. It is frustrating for some of us because our upvotes are worth  little. I honestly wish 'the big guys' on steemit would show more love to the upcoming authors. Thank you for standing 'gidigba' behind people like us.

..i just wanna share how fascinating Steemit is for me,I was invited by a goodfriend @marlon82 ,he was so enthusiastic about the platform and he tell almost all of our workmate but few have responded(including me😊).Now that I'm in my 3 monthd of staying,i can say that Steemit could really rocket to the moon if we all work together as a community,I have invited two of my relatives my cousin @lochea and my tiya @grace44 and so far as they are concerned they really enjoy it here,my aunt onced said that Steemit is way better ,and shes thankful and so am I for having known these platform and people like you as well!

Steemit had become part of our life, our thought and aspirations. It had become something we can not do without. It helps shaping destiny of people and actualizing their dreams. Honestly I only was able to use busy.org and esteem apps only, I've been hearing about utopian and zappl but still unable to try it out.  I know I still have to learn more about it to be able to use it appropriately.

And when it comes to my/our little contribution to bring steem to the moon, I'm glad our group is rapidly growing, and we are producing quality content writers day by day.

And since the day some of our members got their first pay out (including me) more and more people are now interested to join #steemit and be part of our growing team.   We have become a living proof that indeed #steem and #steemit has the power to change our lives for the better.

The little problem I see is that we tend to become addicted with #steemit that we sometimes neglect some other important things to do in the real life LOL.

Well, that's perfectly fine with me perhaps we just need to improve our skills in time management.

I found Steemit by accident, I was looking for information on YouTube, when I found a video of a Venezuelan guy who was talking about Steemit. Now I am so happy to have come here, and to have found you @surpassinggoogle. You are very inspiring and I admire you lots, besides I am infinitely grateful to you. Nice post Terry. Congrats on your continued success. Very Important and Useful Information. I appreciate all of this and will be looking more into it all.

I have questions:
1) Do you know of an autovoter besides @streemian. Streemian does not work anymore. I liked the autovoter because it let me never miss voting on your posts, and other friends post. I could check steemdb and see that i voted on a friends post, and then read the post without missing a chance to help them. I want to be able to help friends who are not on steemit with this feature as well so they can help each other.

2) I am promoting @Steemit TWO Ways in St Louis:

FIRST I am hosting a [Weekly Steemit Bitcoin Happy Hour](https://steemit.com/life/@jacobts/st-louis-steemit-bitcoin-happy-hour-3-invitation) to help people talk in person, to show them how to use steem live, to answer questions and make my large community of improv friends more comfortable with joining steem. I talk face to face, person to person.

SECOND I host a facebook group called [IMPROV COIN](https://steemit.com/life/@jacobts/introducing-improv-coin-facebook-group) and it is for artists mostly. Facebook is where my 1976 mostly improv friends are, so I use the group to help them stay in touch. I have invited @virtualgrowth, @sykochica, @varunsangwan to the group in case they ever can help improvisers.

Do you have any opinions on these efforts. What suggestions you have to help the large improv community in the world. Can you help me, help them?

Thank you Sam. I appreciate the suggestion.  I have only two problems with Discord.  1) Phone crashed and lost passwords and 2FA to many things, and just haven't gotten back on discord.  2)  There are no rewards on Discord.  I never understood why we tell everyone to join steemit, then support a competing social media site.  I'm looking forward to a steemit chatroom that has some possibility for rewards.  That said, gotta go with the flow, and will eventually get over there.  Cheers!

Well Terry, i must say you touched me with this post,, after reading this post, i took sometime alone to reflect on it, then i started to wonder , the different things i do, including steetim, where have i really taken them to, or do i just follow them to anywhere they can reach,, 

So i decided to make a resolution both on and off steemit to add value to whatever i do, to  join in the struggle of taking steemit to the moon no matter how small my contribution may mean, i will value the zeal in me.

That happened me too, with i can say that steemit changed my life!!

i live in venezuela, where a minimun wage is only 5$ at month, imagine that!! some whales can vote you 10x that wage.

so how steemit helped me, i'm helping others too! i started a charity project with the help of the witnes @sircork , we are helping a lot of people on Venezuela streets!! 

like that i spread the voices of steemit, the people started to ask me question about how i do it, and how could i pay for all these food/clothes i'm giving in the street and my answers is always the same : **STEEMIT**

So like that, i'm doing publicity too to the page, **i'm encouraging others to join steemit**

Know you are trying to motivate but as a red fish for the past few months it is not something to brag about to my friends or family. I spend so much time on here and earn so little they will all think I am crazy for doing this. Calling me out by wasting my time. Whales have the incentive to promote steemit because they have a ton vested but to the many red fishes it will take more.

I stick around because I truly can see the globe merging as one and am inspired by this movement. To imagine people from all walks of life to have a chance to earn more than what they currently and will ever get is amazing to see. The redistribution of wealth you could. I just hope I can be apart of this and have a better life for myself and to all whole partake in this endeavor. Thanks.

excellent friend we all must have the vision to take steemit to the moon, and give all of what we have received here. for the moment I'm working on a promotion project promo-ciudad promo-venezuela, I know it's still small but it will soon be fruitful. my country Venezuela is going through very difficult times and steemit can be that bright light at the end of the tunnel for many people so I decided to show the benefits of this platform.

I agree with that. The platform of steemit is better than before. Great post TERRY @surpassinggoogle!!! But other people forgot how to enjoy while steeming! They are the whale of their self they must know that. Build a community that can help both sides. 

Tell other connections that we need to enjoy and express and share knowledge. Remove greedy people who are thinking of just their affair only. I know two people right now who is like that. They giving me a headache.

Relax and know yourself must be. Don't be rush. I learned a lot from you TERRY, thanks, bro...

And now, I still continue spreading steemit to all... An estimated 50% stop using steemit and 65% new recruit to give them hope in life. My target is to take them back the 50% who stop using steemit. To take them back, I need to show them that there are people who are willing to help them to upvote their quality content and just express their feeling.
