확실히 이런 언어유희는 번역하기에 어려움이 많을 거 같아요. 끌고 가는 게 진짜 차를 끌며 가는 게 아니니까요. :) 그렇다고 말을 조금 바꾸면 이상해 질 수도 있고. 불이님의 고민에 근사한 글이 탄생했네요. Pick up은 생각도 못했는데. :) 오늘도 재밌게 잘 봤습니다. ^-^

아무래도 이런 부분 때문에 언어유희의 상당부분은 번역을 하면서 그냥 없어지게 돼요. 극장에서 영화를 보다 보면 외국 사람이 웃는 포인트와 한국 사람이 웃는 포인트가 다른 경우가 종종 있는데, 그 중 상당부분이 이 언어유희 때문이랍니다. 이번엔 다행히 비슷하게나마 그림과 맞출 수 있었네요. ^^ 읽어주셔서 고맙습니다.

허얼, 상당부분 없어진다니 어쩐지 충격적인데요. ㅇ_ㅇ 번역자 마다 책의 내용이 조금씩 다른 게 아무래도 이런 연유겠군요.

그래도 책의 경우는 번역자에 따라 역자주를 통해서, 아니면 괄호 안에 부연설명을 넣을 수 있지만, 가뜩이나 한 화면에 들어갈 글자수가 제한되어 있는 영화나 드라마의 경우엔 그냥 넘어가는 일이 많지요.
