WInter is definitely on the way. I'm surprised that your squirrel friends haven't gathered all the acorns up already. It must not get as cold there as it does in Minnesota. The one good thing about that brutal winter we had is that it seems to have wiped out the Emerald Ash Borers in much of the state.

I still have two ash trees near the house that are holding on, but the tree service was here this week and cut three dead ones in my front yard. I have lost several of them and they have left a lot of holes. These huge old oaks drop a lot of acorns and the neighborhood is full of oak and hickory. We have well fed rodents!
