Your macro photos are just exquisite, @melinda010100! I've noticed the abundance of acorns as well, and yesterday when heading to an appointment with my eldest, I noticed little bits of yellow tinting some of the green leaves along the highway. I have to say, I much prefer the sight of the yellow jewelweed you captured, which I can't stop staring at! I hope the tree cutter guys get the ash tree down without too much fuss and muss. Our landlords had some tree guys out here a few years ago, so I know what you mean, and I agree - they were fascinating to watch! Somewhere I have some pictures of them working... I might have to find them and do up a post... 😊
