 <br/> Fellow steemians, today would like to introduce everyone a restaurant special meal- Beggar Chicken in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 各位史丁密的朋友，这一次@auleo想介绍一道吉隆坡特别的美食，那就是这叫化鸡，呵呵也可以叫它乞丐鸡。 Why does this dish is having such a name- Beggar Chicken? As far as I heard, this dish should originate from a beggar long time ago where this poor man finally get some extra food- Chicken I supposed, so he wrapped and stored and buried it unnoticed in order to save for coming days when he starved again. But unfortunately the place where he buried the wrapped chicken caught fire, as he have no other source of food, he had to dig out the buried food. But surprisingly the buried wrapped chicken was so tasty after long hours of burning (Similar to barbecue I guess ?). Thus this dish was named after beggar chicken as this way of cooking was found out by a beggar. 相传这叫化鸡的来源是很久以前的乞丐发现的烹饪手法，我想这应该是某个乞丐好不容易乞讨到鸡肉，所以把多出来的鸡肉包起来，埋到地下不让其他人发现，可是埋藏的地点却失火；无可奈何的乞丐只好还是把它挖出来，谁知埋起来的、焖烤的鸡肉竟然这么好味道！从此就要这样烹煮的叫化鸡了。 If you would like to try the restaurant signature meal- Beggar Chicken, you have to make advance booking to the boss. But as I was so happened to passing-by the area during lunch time, I decided to try my luck to call the boss- And YES! boss said they did have extra beggar chicken for us ! 要点这家餐馆的招牌菜-叫化鸡，是得要早一日拨电预定的，只是@auleo 临时心血来潮有经过该店，当天早上打电话给老板碰机会，竟然老板说有叫化鸡！  Marinade in various herbs, wrapped nicely and then cover with clay, the restaurant owner would bury the wrapped chicken under the charcoal ash for 1 day 1 night, then only served to the patron. 鸡只以各种中药腌制，包扎好然后用水泥把整个包上，放到炭炉埋藏焖烤一日一夜，隔日方可上桌。  After you made the order, boss would go to behind and dig out the beggar chicken from ash, smashed open the hardened rock and serve to the table- it's such enjoyable to see our food served this way directly from the ashes.haha 当你点了叫化鸡后，老板就会到后面的炭炉取出，然后用铁锤敲碎外壳就可以上桌了！这视觉还蛮享受的。  This restaurant operates the speciality-style, thus you do not have much choices but something that they specialise in. For instance, if you order Toufu, you can only order Pi Pa Toufu, but indeed a tasty one! 其实这家餐馆的菜肴选择不多，是属于走专科路线，好比如果你点豆腐，就是这琵琶豆腐，没有其他类型的豆腐，不过真好吃的。  Vegetable, choose either the 4 Kings or fried lettuce. 点菜则四大天王或玻璃生菜  But before we placed our order, we did not know they operate the speciality-style. As such when the lady boss asked if we would like to order fish but never specify what type of fishes and cooking style, we missed the country fish that I remember clearly since young it's very specially-done.
