I agree with your wife. For me it is yoga too. Not only yoga, but sport in general. Yoga really brings me back to feel and listen to my body and after a yoga session I feel calm and stretched.

 And jogging helps me to live in the moment. When it starts to be exhausting, all my thoughts are about my body and breath and how long will the way back be. ;-) Then I don't have the capacity of thinking about the day or what I still have to do.

And then there is rock climbing. When you are high about the sea level, you have to be focused and every thought about a stressful week go away naturally.

So I guess for me there are two ways. Do sports were I need to be focused and concentrated because it is tricky like climbing. Or do sport which are easy to do but which are really exhausting like jogging.

Well and with yoga it took me quite long to stop thinking during a yoga lessen. But now it is like a button I can push easily. When I am on the mat my head turns of :-D

To move on to the actual discussion at hand and not steal lyrics and energy from "X gonna give it to yah" and the such:<br>
So it's an interesting question this round now, indeed it really is! Because I wouldn't say I'm- well I shall cut my tongue if mój Ukochany (my beloved) sees what I would've said here. So what does, indeed, keep me "sane" when I am busy or stressed out? Nothing more, nothing less.<br>
Well I don't "flip out" like the enraged crowd that can have a feather break their backs when they're busy/stressed. For me this question really is just a moot point considering how much I have internalized the sayings of both Modern and Antiquity Stoics (not the lowercase s stoics, the real-deal Uppercase S Stoics that says you should feel things but know when to control them). So the conditions for me to snap per se are going to be very much hidden from both me and people around and probably random. Which means what causes me to go "insane" is completely irrelevant and would disqualify me from the race head-start.<br>
What I shall say though is how I basically just came to build a very big mental wall against the very powerful emotionally-intensifying forces of stress and business. It starts with the fact that everyday I start out by committing to negative perception exercises, as recommended by actual Stoics unlike those lowercase s stoics, of where I imagine the worst possible scenarios for things outta my control. Accepting the fact that these could happen but DID NOT makes me able to beat any anxiety or fears that I unconsciously have pented up for any given amount of time - because it's easier to laugh at something I do know than to worry about something I don't know. (Did I mention that I have been emotionally snapped for at least one and a quarter years? Not that it actually pertains to this, probably made it easier, but still.) Then I look at the things I can control, the minor annoyances (tasks issued, things I can control and minor aches I can be thankful for instead of receiving big sharp pains) and dish them out since I don't have the larger pains resting on my back like a boulder crushing me. Lastly, I TRY to avoid repetition in life so as to be semi-unpredictable and give those that could be annoyance an annoyance of their own - for which they rather just skirt away from. And then... well I guess that's really it... really? I thought it be a more complicated but that's all I guess I really do to not collapse under pressure - still can't control the periodical passion stirring (emotional catharsis) sessions, but I at least can be in charge of when I want to stop my passions from stirring.

I know the feeling, back before I joined the crypto world and made this my game I was addicted to computer games, World Of Warcraft, all counter strikes, rainbow siege, Guild wars, Battlefields, CoD, and the list goes on and on and on. Gaming is soo much fun, atm I'm more focused on researching cryptos and other techs but I'm sure that in the future I'll start livestreaming some gameplay from my channel, or at least my alt account...

Well, normally I work out and go out to party to feel relaxed, but lately I've been saving up money to buy cryptos when the market reverses so atm I'm using TV shows to destress from life... Watching TV shows doesn't require any mental or physical activity, I just need to shut my brain off and watch the show without thinking.

indulge in a tired soul by seeing nature. You could say exercise while enjoying its beauty. In the course of our body we will be invited to exercise, then when we see the natural scenery we will feel more grateful. Wasting time, the edge refreshes our soul and body

I feel like I  am always sane and relaxed. I am also always busy and never stressed. I'm just happy to be alive and come what may, I just keep working. When I get tired, I sleep. When I wake up, I work. I work out and eat when I can and that is about it :)

For me, it's music. More exactly Jazz. It does a great job, especially when I'm stressed about trading and I have to take important decisions. So that's it: Jazz is my little 'hideaway' 😁

Ruminating on God's  word  keeps me sane,  so many thoughts I deal with each day but knowing  fully well that God is still on the thronr and He  knows me and cherish me makes me smile.  Even if am walkijg alone on the street,  I'll smile. God keeps me sane. Hallelujah.

For me its soccer, if i don't play at least twice a week I feel like im out of balance and not getting a chance to clear my head

Easy one this week...finally, lol.
My girlfriend/wife. Simple as that.
She's the most calm, emotionally balanced person I know (except when I'm driving her crazy, but I can't blame here, because I can be very nasty and have terrible tantrums), always has a practical solution for no matter what problem that crosses our path and never loses her clear view on things, her calm and her belief in a positive outcome. That's the one thing that keeps me sane - although I don't know if the word 'sane' can be used in the same sentence as my name :0/

She can put everything in the right perspective when I'm completely stressed, depressed, annoyed, angry or just plain lost.

Music can do the trick too, but by far not as good as she can. :0)

I must say that prayer works perfectly for me.
Praying for me has filled me with inner peace, it has changed my life. The attitude with which I face the situations that I live day to day, to my family, to the neighbors. I can accept the tribulations of life and my beloved country Venezuela, otherwise I would not be standing here with my daughters
