How to make the most of your Crypto when cashing out in Malaysia

How things have changed over the past few years here in Malaysia. Previously I used to talk a lot about how to withdraw your crypto using Remitano as that had seem to be the best option. 

However now... things have changed. Why ??? This is purely because the govt of Malaysia has started to acknowledge cryptocurrency and have approved 3 new crypto exchanges which is able to both deposit and withdraw MYR ( Malaysian Ringgit ) directly from your local bank account here. 

**One of the regulated and most used exchanges today here in Malaysia for local currency is LUNO.** 

### **Comparison between REMITANO and LUNO**

Lets take a few differences between REMITANO and LUNO. Remitano is more of a P2P exchange with willing buyer and willing seller. Prices will vary based on demand and supply. 

#### **Remitano has a deposit fee of 0.005 ETH if you want to cash out compared to LUNO which does not have any fees at the moment.**

So if you are moving your ETH out from Bittrex, Binance or any exchange, you would be paying a withdrawal fee and if you move it to Remitano, you would be paying deposit fee as well. A double charge just by moving your crypto. 

#### **The rates you get at Remitano is not going to be good**

Now take a look at the prices which you are getting thru Remitano. You can expect to get a much lower price compared to what is in the markets. 

Here is LUNO's price at the exact same period of Remitano's prices above

I'm sure you see where I am getting at huh. 

#### **Every trader on Remitano requires a minimum trading amount**

Have you been caught wanting cash really urgently and you only have a certain amount of ETH which you can cash out. However if you do use Remitano, there is a minimum amount set by each trader before you can cash out.  

Now, not everyone has 1 ETH to be able to trade at all times. And if you want to urgently cash out using Remitano, you would need to settle for less as you find a trader who is willing to buy your ETH. 

## **How to capitalise your crypto to cash here in Malaysia using LUNO**

Ok ... this is not a financial advise however I guess that this would be the most efficient way and getting more value from what you are about to cash out. 

Firstly transfer your ETH or BTC to LUNO after you have signed up and verify yourself and connect your bank account. 

Next don't just sell it !!! Make full use of the built in exchange which is available on LUNO. CLICK that **Exchange** word. **Seriously LUNO needs to have better designs for their UI for people to actually notice it.**

Now, once you click on it you gain access to the exchange which people are trading ETH for MYR !

Once you see it.. you can now take out your crystal ball and decide at what price you want to sell your precious ETH at. 

What I would normally do is to set at least 10% - 20% higher then the current price and just leave it. Unless if you think the price if going to drop then just do a sell off at the current market price. 

**What you would get after a successful sell is MYR which is still in LUNO.** 

Next you decide what you want to do. If you still don't really really need the cash out yet ... why not put in another trade .. and buy ETH at a lower price from what you sell ... rinse .. and repeat..

The whole idea is that you gain as much value from your ETH before you cash out and if you really really want to cash out. 

Always remember that your crypto is an asset. If you have 1 BTC or ETH ... and don't do anything with it, you will remain at 1.  However if you trade .. you are able to increase it, and there is also a chance of loosing it.
