I just added seven new witnesses to my list, because I connected with them at Steemfest (@bitrocker2020, @gtg), saw them speak (@aggroed - my favorite presentation!!) or watched their presentation on the replay today (@curie, @utopian-io). 

Oh, and I added @steemcommunity because, well, I don't know why I hadn't voted for them before (sorry, @abh12345), and also @partiko, because their app is just the best!

## Witnesses, make it simpler for us to vote for you!

Some of you already do that, but many are not: 

If I read a post by you and I like the great things you do for the Steem blockchain, I want to vote for you simply by clicking a button. Please, add a standard link on the bottom of your posts - *always* - that takes us straight to the voting page. 

I have often felt like voting for someone, but I didn't know how to, or I couldn't remember, and I also didn't feel like investing the time to search at that moment. 

Especially after Steemfest, where many people met you in person (like I did), they might be in the mood for casting a few votes (like I was :)), so please make it easy for us! Maybe even put the link in your profile right on top!
 
## Steemies, please vote for witnesses! 

Steemfest really highlighted to me, that the power and success of Steemit comes from us, the community. Not from a CEO or some other authority. 

In order to grow and future proof our blockchain, we need good guardians, who have the interests of the community in mind. That's the witnesses. 

For sure some of them have only their own interests in mind, that's possible. That's why it's important to vote for *the ones who you believe really have the success of the Steemit community at heart*. 

When you see someone doing good, vote for them, so they can continue to do good!

## It only takes a second and there are several ways to vote 

One way is to go to https://steemit.com/~witnesses. But you might forget that link, especially in those spontaneous moments when you need it. 

Another way is through http://steemworld.org. You may have that page open anyway every day, so it's harder to forget. Simply scroll down to the **Tools** section, and tick the box next to the witness you want to vote for (it will ask you for your active private key, which you can find in your own Steemit account under "Permissions"). 

And for the cases where you also forget the Steemworld option, it would be handy to have the direct link on the bottom of the posts by witnesses. Hence, my request above :)
