It was quite a success for my dialysis treatment session because I did not get to crash my blood pressure thanks to God. There was nothing unusual on what I did but what I did was just like on my Wednesday dialysis because after my meal I had my usual bath and then I would take my Caffeine capsules just before we head for the dialysis center.

I just wanted the caffeine to kick before I get to be hooked-up so that it would stabilize my blood pressure then immediately after being hooked-up I would take another Caffeine capsule as a booster along with my energy drink.

My energy drink has to be consumed before the first hour of dialysis ends so that the B-vitamins therein is washed along with its added caffeine which is around 100 mg. The energy drink comes in two small sachets which my mother reconstitutes with water before putting it in my thermos.

I like drinking that particular brand of energy drink because it is tasty and a bit fizzy but not so fizzy enough like a regular soda to bloat me up because it is really hard to burp at dialysis because my nurses would never let me to sit me up just to do a simple burp telling me that my blood pressure might go down or I might get dizzy and so and so.

That is why I whisk my drink in my mouth to let the carbon dioxide out before ingesting it so that I would avoid getting uncomfortable with a stomach full of gas otherwise I will again get my BP to cause me trouble.

<center>__My Energy Drink__</center>

For my dialysis session today I targeted about 700 mL more than what I usually target but after my session they had overshoot my target with 200 mL that is why my BP got stable during my session and never went down lower than 130/80. In-fact I went home with a BP higher than my pre-dialysis blood pressure which is just 130 and I went home with 140 Systolic.

From now on I would just target the same dry weight, what I just wanted to do is to almost clear my body with its excess water so that I can have a much more allowance of water or fluids to consume without the compromise of crashing my blood pressure.

There is no exact system on how I can manage my own dialysis, it is just as complicated as my body being dotted with various ailments. But I guess I would just do what works for me and probably I will again do what I did today to influence the outcome of my dialysis treatment session into what I want to happen for my own well-being in-between my dialysis session days.
