Hello Steemians!

Today we would like to just give a quick shout out to the senior volunteers who tirelessly avail themselves to help out the food bank whenever they have time.

Many of the seniors at this age, especially those who could afford, would either be relaxing with their grand kids or even perhaps, take the opportunity to see the world through tour packages or even getting together with family trips.

# Not for seniors

They understood the need of the others and whole the younger batch comes once a month to provide their _muscles_ at least once a month on Saturdays to help pack ready what is needed for all the recipients (from individual families to centers), our seniors would make sure before the packing starts, all items are accountable for.

Uncle Lim for example, tirelessly, _religiously_ will head off to pick up extra breads that are donated to children from under privileged families every Tuesday; rain or shine. He will only not be able to make it if there's something urgent happening at home or if he is unwell; otherwise you will see him plan his time and make sure that whatever needs to be at the food bank for distribution will <b><i>BE</i></b> at the food bank.

The dedicated spirits of these seniors sets a great example for younger folks that there is never too late to make a mark to impact someone's life; no matter how huge or how small the task is.

Every family receives a blessing because of their dedicated work, never fail to deliver what is important.

This is something the world sometimes sorely lack and these gems are truly a blessing.

As the Chinese quote says,
>"a family with a senior, is a family with a treasure."

Let's keep these role models in thoughts and prayers that they will always have great health, peace and joy in what they do!
