The flipping has happened to my portfolio

This year has been the story of ethereum for me. I bought a tiny amount in the original ICO that has been catapulted to the biggest chunk of my crypto holding when ETH went from $8 per coin all the way to $500 and is now trading at $430.

So in a certain way the flippening that the ethereum community has been talking about so much has happened in my portfolio a long time ago. And yes the flippening is a thing, there is even a website where u can watch the [flippening](https://www.flippening.watch/).

So for the longest time it seemed ETH will take everything over and win the cake.

But slowly and surely bitcoin has been finding it's strength and climbed back up the domination charts of cryptoland.

Today is the first day for as long as I can remember (which is actually not that long) that bitcoin has claimed a larger piece of the pie than any other coin in my portfolio. A position that ETH had been holding for most of the year.

So for me Bitcoin has just flipped back. It will be interesting to see how this pans out in the future.

What do you think? Will bitcoin always be king or are other projects capable of taking it's place?

I think bitcoin is a growing baby’s nd the other coins are capable of so much more and have a lot of potential . Right now bitcoin is in the spotlight but others will soon take its place . Personally to me , ETH has a lot more potential and it will be seen next year

Bitcoin was and remains king, the only question is whether there is some currency that can grow more in relation to Bitcoin. If I invest in a xyz currency of $ 1 and by the end of 2018 its value is $ 50 then it is a 50-fold increase. If Bitcoin's value jumped 10 times, then I earned 500% .

I think that bitcoin will be the leader until it benefits whales. As soon as they are in it, you can get completely unpredictable things.

This is a surplus of translation.
While bitcoin will benefit people who have concentrated their bulk, it will be in price. But, there is another option, sooner or later bitcoin can get bored of investors, and then unpredictable turns can happen.

This last half year when i started and made all mistakes with alts and seeing btc climb i am sure btc Will stay king a long time. I alleluja sold Some alts with loss and now i have the most btc. Resulting in a profit in $. I hope 2018 Will be the year for me with Some Good lessons. I have only 100 Eos and i believe this Will be my biggestprofit in a year from now.

I do not think bitcoin will always be the king because of its fee and confirmation time, the saturation point may come very soon for it if these things are not solved in the next fork.

On one hand, to me it's pretty obvious that ethereum will overtake bitcoin sooner or later.

On the other hand, I still cannot explain why ethereum price skyrocketed during the first half of this year but then stayed very stabled during the second half.
