What makes some people worried about happiness?
During happy moments and joyous occasions, we usually hope that time will pass slowly so that we don't get to the end! But for a few people, wishing that the time of happiness and simplicity will last longer is not included in their agenda! Quite the contrary, they are watching fear, suspicion and anxiety as the happy event approaches!

You must have met people like that before, people who are afraid to have happy moments, even get in a state of anxiety and obvious tension, and connect it to something bad that might happen after these happy moments!

## Such people are not black people, they suffer from a syndrome known as fear of happiness.

It appears that this syndrome has not received attention and popularity as its symptoms are usually classified as a form of depression.

People with this syndrome often refuse to acknowledge their happiness or fear of experienced trauma in the past or an unhappy experience.

> Apart from the fact that a large percentage of them think that feeling happy for a long time is not a good thing because it will fade over time as the enthusiasm increases. Introversion and depression are also contributing factors to the development of the syndrome.

Other patterns help with this syndrome, often incorrect intellectual legacies, such as linking apparent happiness to naivety and superficiality. So we may find a person who fears happiness seeks perfection and from his point of view avoiding happiness is one way to do it!

Since it is a psychological syndrome, there is no particular topical treatment that eliminates these negative feelings. But certainly there are practices that can mitigate their effects and get the person out of the bubble that surrounded himself.
