Two years ago, same time, we all were in high feeling and then the markets tumbled. Did anyone expect that? Surely some did because it was time up then for the bear market to  set in. But some who had little or no knowledge of the crypto space were taken up too much by surprise. BTC was soaring, it touched 20K, Steem to 6 and everything was on a high and then the lows started with no one knowing that it would be around 2 years for us to be in those low trends. 

So the 2 year time period has been a real testing one for each one of us. Some of us held back with patience, some lost their confidence on the way and gave up.

***This is my Story of the last 2 years.***

I had just stepped into the world of Crypto around 6 months back that is June 2017 and at the same time also started with my  Steem journey. The prices were moving up and I was on a high, thinking, wow this is really working very fast for me. With no idea what was coming then shortly, I was making big plans, and then suddenly the down trend set in. Felt like oooopsss this is all going against what I planned. For the first few months the feeling was of too much restlessness and hopelessness, thinking when will it start getting better again, months got into 1 year, by that time I was settling down in my mind and taking it calmly. But for the first few months the feeling as very dirty, and I used to keep hoping that it would change soon. Then I started studying up a bit in this space to understand how it works and all I learnt is I need to have patience at this point of time. There were a few spikes in between which gave some hopes and then again down. 
The most dreadly part was the steem prices just falling and falling and at one point of time I also felt, what if all my efforts go waste, all of this is for nothing. But then I just thought be it whatever, let me continue, whatever has to happen will do so, but I need to not waste this time. Many a times there were withdrawal symptoms thinking this is not leading anywhere. The best thing I would do is talk to my son in these low times. He is full time into crypto trading and his little pep talk would set me right back again into the game and then I would do some self motivation to keep going on.

I am feeling today that every single effort that I put in on Steem and the patience held is now gradually going to start showing up. It's show time now, and I am so happy that I did not give up on my BTCs nor the Steem and not any other Alt Coins also. I was only moving forward with one thought, that I got in very late into this market and I now have a opportunity to grab as much as possible in these low trends and that's what I kept doing. Bought in some Alt Coins, Increased my BTC value, accumulated Steem and I am happy with my current holdings. I feel that by the end of the next bull run I will be sorted with my finances to take care of the Goals that I have set for my future. 
Ok I am being too optimistic but that's what I am as a person so can't really help. But still I do not see any reason now why it should not happen.
