**Resident Evil 4 is a survival-horror videogame that takes us into a world of plagues and mutations, has a lot of criticism for being a survival-horror turning into an action game**

**In the beginning we take control of Leon S Kennedy, an American agent, who gets as a mission to rescue the daughter of the president from the claws of a terrorist organitation, He have a great charisma and talent in the franchise, as it is the second time that he appears in a video game made by Capcom. That is the idea of ​​the game as a base concept to make us like Leon. We also have  the leap from a single camera to third person view.**

>*En el principio tomamos el control de león S Kennedy, un agente americano, que obtiene como misión rescatar a la hija del presidente es lo que nos plantea la historia, Este tiene un gran carisma y talento en la franquicia, ya que es la segunda vez que aparece en un videojuego hecho por Capcom. **A vast range of antagonists with their respective iconic personalities. Resident Evil 4 has everything, great graphics for his time, a villain who wants global control, and many minibosses. As a game it is extremely fun, its mechanics are very polished. The inventory system is like a mini game for the player. And the design of enemies is quite neat, although the AI system is not completely polished because these same enemies can stop at doors, walk over themselves and even spin around the same pixel in the map. But if we take into count the year in which this game came out, it was more than good.**

Residente evil 4 tiene de todo, unos grandes gráficos para su época, un villano que desea el control mundial, y muchos subjefes. Como juego es sumamente divertido, sus mecánicas están muy pulidas. Su sistema de inventario es como un mini juego para el jugador. Y el diseño de enemigos está bastante pulcro, aunque la inteligencia artificial no está del todo bien pulida debido a que estos mismos enemigos pueden detenerse en puertas, caminar sobre ellos mismos y hasta dar vueltas en mismo pixel del mapa. Pero si tomamos en cuenta la época en la cual salió estaba más que bien.*

**The game keeps us in constant suspense and trill, we do not know what we will face after crossing a door or turning the next corner, if we will be instantly murdered by a villager with a chainsaw or we will be impaled like skewers falling through a death trap. Many times we will be surrounded by so many enemies or we will be left without bullets (It will always good to improve your skills with the knife and use surroundings at your favor) and there will be no choice but to flee. And not everything is to kill or be killed, there are riddles (That can kill you) in the game that will make you turn your head, either for improvements for weapons, expensive treasures  or to continue (Alive) with the story**

>*El juego nos mantiene en constate suspenso, no sabemos que nos enfrentaremos tras cruzar una puerta o al cruzar una esquina, si seremos automáticamente asesinados por un aldeano con una moto sierra o seremos empalados como brochetas al caer por una trampa mortal. Muchas veces nos veremos rodeados por tantos enemigos o nos quedaremos sin balas( aunque lo mejor es enfocarse en mejorar las habilidades con el cuchillo y aprovechar al máximo tu entorno) y no existirá más opción que huir. Y no todo es matar o morir, existen acertijos en el juego que te harán dar vuelta a tu cabeza, ya sean por mejoras de armas, tesoros costosos o para continuar con la historia.*

**The game even has collectables in a "shooting at the target" minigame. And as another collectable there  are treasures, which will serve us at the time of continuing with the adventure, to sell them and that way have more money and buy better weapons or improve the best ones. Within the range of weapons we have the most classic, pistols, shotguns, rocket launchers, nothing out of the ordinary  but we also have a system of improvements that unfortunately do not have the effect of a visual change (max bullets cap, imporved damage, reducing reload time, etc...).**

>*También el juego posee coleccionables en un minijuego de dispara al blanco. Y como otro coleccionable son los tesoros, que nos servirán a la hora de continuar con la aventura, para venderlos y así tener más  dinero y comprar mejores armas. Dentro de la gama de  armas tenemos las más clásicas, pistolas, escopetas, lanza-misiles, nada fuera de lo ordinario pero además tenemos un sistema de mejoras que por desgracia no tienen el efecto de un cambio visual (Aumentar la capacidad de balas, aumentar el daño, reducir el tiempo de recarga entre otras).*

**About the story is pretty cliché, even the game makes a little joke about it, because without the help from anyone, well almost nobody, we end up practically a whole town infected with zombies that are not zombies (... but plagues). The stages are polished and although they are repeated several times, we have three where their setting are more than remarkable. the town, the castle and finally the island, as well as a boss for each scenario. Also the zombie modeling changes based on the scenario (peasants, monks and prisoners), and bosses too. The game is full of secondary missions that we can perform as Ada Wong where we can see other pieces of the story with another perspective of the story.**

>*Sobre la historia es bastante cliché, hasta el propio juego hace una pequeña burla al respecto, ya que sin ayuda de nadie, bueno de casi nadie, acabamos con prácticamente un estado infectado de zombies que no son zombies si no plagas. Los escenario están pulidos y aunque se repitan en varias ocasiones tenemos tres donde su ambientación son más que destacables. Dentro de ello tenemos el pueblo, el castillo y por último la isla,  además de un jefe por cada escenario. También los modelados de los zombies cambian en base al escenario, y los subjefes también. El juego está lleno de misiones secundarias que podemos realizar como Ada Wong donde podemos ver otros trozos de la historia con otra perspectiva de los hechos.*

**There are the typical easy, medium or profesional mode, which is artificial difficulty, because the character only receives more damage and because of having re-played it so many times there is no change in the position of the items or places where bullets appear, neither the enemies they won't have other attacks or diferent battle strategies (unlike the Nemesis that had several options and alternate endings) , or that there were less possibilities of obtaining money and consumables. Although there are some prizes if you manage to pass the maximum difficulty that as I said before it does not become the big thing. And if you want to pass the game to get all the trophies (If you play it on Ps3) is quite simple, light in that aspect.**

**We also have a mercenary mode that challenges the player, to kill as many zombies as possible in the less amount 
 of time, personally I never liked it, it seemed boring and monotonous, although you could use other characters with unique special abilities, it seemed very unfair to me the enemies that existed, however out of my personal opinion, was the mode that most charmed the community, because others found it very fun, because it had that theme of survival with timeattack and total annihilation.**

>*Existen los típicos modos de dificultad fácil, medio o difícil, que es dificultad artificial, debido a que el personaje solo recibe mayor daño y por haberlo re-jugado tantas veces no existe un cambio en la recogida de objetos principales o lugares donde aparecen balas y enemigos, no es como si los enemigos tuvieran otros ataques nuevos o diferentes estrategias de combate (a diferencia del Nemesis que tenia varias opciones y finales alternos), o que hubiera menos posibilidades de obtener dinero y consumibles. Aunque existen unos premios si logras pasarte la máxima dificultad que como dije antes no llega a ser la gran cosa. Y si quieres pasarte el juego para conseguir todos los trofeos (Asumiendo que lo juegas en Ps3) es bastante ligero en ese aspecto.* 

>*También tenemos un modo mercenarios que desafía al jugador, a matar a la mayor cantidad posible de zombies en el menor tiempo posible, personalmente nunca me gusto, me parecía aburrido y monótono, aunque pudieras usar a otros personajes con habilidades especiales y únicas, me parecía muy injusto con los enemigos que existían, sin embargo fuera de mi opinión personal, fue lo que más encanto a la comunidad, debido a que a otros les pareció muy divertido, porque tenía esa temática de supervivencia con tiempo y aniquilación total*.

**As a personal opinion the game is wonderful, even with its flaws as the monotony of modeling in a particular area, a coprotagonist that can get to stress out of how useless she can be. And the fact that we can not shoot in motion. Where the only excuse to this is to leave the actions of the previous video games only for nostalgia, when we took the leap to another camera perspective can be frustrating. And a mistranslation "Mexican" in the town when the game gives us the understanding that we are located in "Spain".**

**You will spend the best hours of your life trying to get everything collectable with respect to the game, since it encourages you to do so and does not become partially boring when it comes to doing it. In short you will have fun looking. It's a great action game that combines the morbid with the suspense and great scares that will get you if you haven't played it yet**

>*Como opinión personal el juego es maravilloso, con sus defectos como la monotonía de modelados en una zona en concreto, una coprotagonista que puede llegar a estresarte de lo inútil que puede ser. Y el hecho de que no podamos disparar en movimiento. Donde la única escusa de esto es dejar las acciones de los videojuegos anteriores solo por nostalgia cuando dimos el salto a otra perspectiva de cámara puede llegar ser frustrante. Y una traducción errónea mexicana en el pueblo cuando el juego nos da a entender que estamos ubicados en España*. 

>*Le dedicaras las mejores horas de tu vida al tratar de obtener todo lo coleccionable con respecto al juego, ya que el mismo te insta a hacerlo y no se vuelve parcialmente aburrido a la hora de hacerlo. En resumen te divertirás buscando y sintiéndote poderoso rodeado de tanto hueco seco. Es un gran juego de acción que combina lo mórbido con el suspenso y los grandes sustos que te llevaras sin aun no lo has probado*
