A sport is a movement if it has mobilised both the athletes and the general public participating enthusiastically. 

The evening of August 18 last year was my very first experience of watching an American football match held in Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia. It was indeed an eye opening exposure although I still wonder why so many people are crazy for such a rough game. 

However, I have realised that the American football is not just a sport for the sport men. It is actually a movement that many people are involved enthusiastically. Admission into the field to watch the game required tickets and going through strict security check to ensure safety. But, the people were excited to go through the process. And outside the stadium were tables and chairs with people gathered together as if having picnic. 

When the match was held inside the stadium, there was never a time of silence but full of excited noise. Even during the break, the organiser had made it very entertaining with performance to appease the eyes of the audience. It is not my purpose to comment about the nature and quality of the performance. But certainly such a sport was a movement, which had given excitement to many. 

Therefore, whether it is a sport or any campaign, it can become very impactful if the general public are mobilised and having the desire to be closely associated with the event. When it happens, it is no longer a mere sport or campaign but a movement.

费城老鹰队在林肯金融场和另一支球队交手。

如果运动员和公众热心参与一项运动，那运动便成了一个整体性运动。

去年8月18日晚上是我第一次观看在费城林肯金融场举行的美式足球比赛。这确实令我大开眼界，如今我仍然不尽了解为什么这么多人会为这种比赛疯狂。

但是，我意识到美式足球不仅仅是属于运动员的运动。这实际上是一项很多人都热衷参与的活动。入场观看比赛必须有门票，还要经过严格的安检以确保安全。但是，人们还是很乐意完成这些过程。在体育场外面有桌子和椅子，不少人聚集，如同享受野餐一样。

当比赛进行时，从来不会有沉静的时间，而總是充满了兴奋的声音。即使是休息的时候，主辦者也会提供表演来满足观众的眼睛。我無意在此评论演出節目的性质和目的。但是，这样的一项运动的确被打造成为一个讓很多人兴奋不已的節目。

因此，无论是体育运动还是任何其他性质运动，如果能动员大众，並造成他们很乐意参与，那么这种运动将有無比的影响力。它不再仅仅是一个运动项目，而是一个整体性运动。
