Lazy cooking #1 Sweet Pumpkin Sago Dessert

Hello dear Steemian friends. Of late I've been posting more on cooking. My other half @beverlyjoe suggested to create my own head title for this. What a great idea. I've created my own head title on Jokes 1001 and Mama Parenting. My Jokes 1001 is ongoing but My Mama Parenting is a bit slow.

I'm not expert in cooking. I cook what I want and if I feel like I want to. Most of the time Mr hubby will do the cooking...maybe he don't want me to smell like onion..LOL

Here's my first ever Lazy Cooking #1  A Sweet Pumpkin Sago Dessert. Yesterday I went to Bataras wet market and bought a 1/4 of fresh Pumpkin. Today, I feel like wanting to eat this dessert so lets cook baby..

## Ingredients
My recipe consist of this ingredients.

- 1/4 of fresh pumpkin 
- 1 cup of Sago Pearl (Tapioca pearls)
- half tsp of salt
- small portion of Gula melaka (brown hard sugar)
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tsp vanila flavour or pandan leaves

## Instruction
Clean and cut the pumpkin into small pieces.

At first I cut it with the hard skin. Then I cut the hard skins and take only the the interior.

Cook it to boil in a pot for 15 to 20 minutes.

Add in Gula Melaka to taste, vanila flavour (or Pandan leaves - I forgot to buy yesterday), milk and let it boil.

Once boil, add in Sago pearl. Here I only have pink colored Sago pearl. You actually can add any colour you like.

Stir to mix well. Wait for 2 minutes, turn off the stove and covered the pot. The reason I do this is because I don't like my Sago pearls overcooked. I like it to look like frog's eggs.

Now you can eat the Sweet Pumpkin Sago Dessert! This dessert is good to serve either warm or cold. 

## Tips: 
- You can use coconut cream to replace the Milk.

- If you have any leftover, keep it in the refrigerator. You can eat it later cold straight from the fridge!
