I have seen this used in Comedy before, I am sure you can see the humor here so let's visualize it from this perspective for a moment... Harold and Kumar.... Good movie. Harold is Asian. One of his peers has to stay late at work with extra math to do. Instead of staying late, his buddy convinces him to give the extra math work to Harold... The Asian. Their comment is... Of course Harold will want to do all that Math, you probably just made his whole weekend! Then they laughed it off, and went ahead partying over their weekend while poor Harold had to do the extra math work all weekend. This is what is meant here. That was incredibly rude and racist, to hilarious degrees, to simply assume that Harold wants to stay in doing math work all weekend just because he is Asian. Not every comment should be assumed as a racist ones. However, the ones that are racists usually stick out like a soar thumb.

If you look around lately this is not how it is being used. It is being used to focus exclusively on the microaggressions. In fact they'll watch someones expression and say "see another microaggression". The conversation really isn't a conversation at that point it is just a chance for someone to focus on microaggressions. I say it plainly. FUCK MICROAGGRESSIONS. They are either full on aggression or check your desire to challenge microaggressions at the door. If you are uncertain of the intent rather than making an assumption on the intent do what historically has occurred in conversations "Ask".

If someone is watching your face to pin point their assumptions about any Micro aggression you may carry, then they are not really debating anymore. They are trolling and quite simply... talking shit. In that same respect, if you really are against something then just say it. Don't beat around the bush. Kinda like what Trump did with the Travel ban. Just move forward clearly indicating your thoughts without trying to cover it up at all. Trump could have Micro agrressed his way through that entirely but he didn't. So I am having a hard time visualizing what you are talking about it seems. Not the other way around. Perhaps it would have helped if you had included a reference to the behavior you are talking about. If you had a case, like a You Tube video or something that I could see, then I might be able to understand what you are talking about a little better and I might agree with you more about it.

Next time I see one I'll shoot you a link. I don't have one at the moment. The thing that inspired me was that PDF. Some of those microaggression topics were pretty ridiculous. You have to operate off of an assumption for many of those things. Which acting off of the assumption is worse than a microaggression IMO. Ask about it if you are assuming... find out rather than reacting to a perceived microaggression. I've also spoken people who would almost be in a constant state of microaggression due to their expressions and body language, yet that is simply who they are. You know I appreciate you. So don't take anything I said to you as lashing out at you. My FUCK MICROAGGRESSIONS was me throwing my hands wide and saying it out loud. So next time I see an example (regardless of the source) I'll share it with you on slack or something. I don't go out of my way to look for them. They really irritate me when I see them.
