*…but for others, a hit on their bottom line.*

I can only say that watching the numbers decline really makes me appreciate a simple Excel sheet to see how the ‘bottom line’ is affected. Today, my minnow’s wallet, *as everyone's*, was down a bit. I can only imagine what a nail-biter it must be for those who are staring hundreds flush down the tube. 

Of course, the pros see it as a tax write-off; and, shake it off, focusing on the long-term. 

It’s much easier when the bank is small; but, a great opportunity to see the how the long-term coasters in plain sight; which explains why one shouldn't watch the day-in-day-out flux. 

Just as the a down turn; I believe that eventually it will uptick again; like gravity. 

I can see, too; why when things uptick a bit; it’s worth taking out a few eggs and investing them into a lower-priced venture. 

I’m hopeful that one day Steemit will get there…and I will be listening for the next best buy, and put a few eggs there.

I hope you didn’t get on God’s nerves defaming His Ten Commandments in a post last week. I was too wearied by the Vegas massacre to get back with you on putting the actual Bible citation for any people reading your comments who might be seeking facts. 

I’d hate to see someone innocently citing one of those odd commandments. (I am sadly, head down, literally lol…and, yes SMH!)

I don’t want to get on God's nerves; so, I’m including the citation for the Ten Commandments. 

Hey everybody, it's  (EXODUS 2: 1-17)!

Of course, Jesus narrowed all Ten down to ONE: 

**For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.** (KJV)

This is in line with what most were taught as children: 

**Treat others the way you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes.**

*Steemit is 7 days a week, the occasional forced "mental health day" is not so bad.*

Yes, if you’re gifted on multi-layers with design and writing, et al, Steemit could easily become a real-world escape. 

I realized early on that Steemit is potentially addictive to those with an avid propensity for creating on many levels; i.e., art, photography, blogging, designing, etc. 

For this reason, I *have to* step away for a day from posting; preventing self from getting too attached to this platform. 

The last time I did that, I got blindsided; and, had to go through a period of ‘mourning’ when it flew the coop in the middle of the night. 

Imagine: Hot coffee in hand…logging in…blatant, in-your-face ad to buy this domain….I lol today; but, not funny a few years back… 

I consider receiving the payouts as a form of ‘work’ on some level; and, treat it as part of a Sabbath Day off.

Btw, how cool...and what a gift to be able to lift one's spirit with a good laugh!

One more thing…off topic while I have your attention: 

When you get a break, please help me to understand in layman’s terms the reason I would pay money to join Steemit. A post by a very influential Steemian ;+) got a very mixed bag of attention in the comments section.
