# Buying Pearls<h1>

Around 10 days ago I wrote about me buying a pearl in Hawaii here https://steemit.com/travel/@knozaki2015/i-travel-the-world-406-buying-a-pearl <br> @miho said why don't you buy some pearls at Famous Japanese Brand mikimoto that's exactly where we went last time. It was all great but we finally ended in another famous store called Tasaki in Ginza.

It is only 8% sales tax but that's tax free for foreigners, so my friend saved a little fortune on the necklace he bought for his wife. The necklace he bought was stunning and the quality of the pearls was such a difference compared to the ones I bought for 20USD in Hawaii. But I think his wife is very happy with it. That's the price for a husband to go to Japan without his wife to meet me ;)
