What if there's a delete button for post on Steemit?

<h3>Hello Steem World</h3>

I know this sounds impossible to do on Steem Blockchain because that's just how a blockchain functions.

<h3>It's just a silly question popped in my head when I made a wrong post recently. In fact, it just happened yesterday when I post a cross-content from Twitter. I accidently hit the post button and forgot to include my video.</h3>

I mean, how many of you had this situation? I think nearly all faces this same silly mistake.

I guess the only best way is to update/edit the content. But even for that, it's gonna take a while for the blockchain to update other nodes. The good things is that thanks to curation trail, you will still get paid for a wrong post. Lol.

But, what do you think if there's an option to immediately delete post? Is it a good thing?

This blockchain was created to be transparent. Having delete button will go against the fundamental purpose of the blockchain otherwise it won't be called decentralized anymore. We really have to make sure we need to be extra careful before making a post. Thanks for the comment bro!

At one point, I really wish there's a delete button but like you said, even with a wrong post, we still got paid. So, I am okay with that as long we still can edit the content.
