 While doing some straightforward work around Subang area, get to enjoy this view overseeing SS15, the Boba tea town. Haha, you would find around 10 boba tea cafe opening just side to side at the same street which is crazy and I can’t brain this strategy either... well, it is always interesting to see how they compete and how they make the market unsustainable and eventually to closure. A normal cycle when there are too much supply than demand. Plus, I would say that the hype will be over when people get bored and get more health conscious about their sugar taking. To be honest, I had yet to try the brown sugar boba tea. I would like to see how they make, the production line, and how they serve the customer. These are all essence for taking on f&b business. Rare sight to look at the roof structure of the old shop lots of SS15. It is time to rethink how we should design shop too, is this the shop lots we want for the future? I do think is not that flexible and poor ventilation makes people sick being inside, especially at the upper floors. If you are working in such shop lot, do share your experience with me. I am also working in an office of such shop lot whereby the ventilation is totally block and have to depend on air conditioning. To me, I would feel stuffy and not energized when I am confined in such a space without view looking out to the surrounding. I would rather have a ceiling fan on top of me and working outside, not in the air conditioned and four walls kind of space. That’s make me stress out and less inspired to work. Well, this is part of the human comfort that can subconsciously improve the work quality of the people and it needs to be emphasize.
